Christmas Fair, Saturday 26 November
Our big and beautiful Christmas fair will be held again this year, on Saturday 26 November, in Roleystone Community Hall, starting at 9am. Lots of Christmas goodies on sale, a Christmas tree competition and more, with proceeds going to the work of the church in our community.
Bushfires:
We are continuing our support and prayers for families who have lost homes in the bushfires early this year. Many have made decisions about rebuilding or buying elsewhere, and we pray that God will be with them as they make their decisions.
Memorial Garden at St Christophers:
Our memorial garden was blessed by Archbishop Roger Herft on his visit to us in July. It has been beautifully planted by our dedicated gardeners, Suzy and Frances. On Sunday 30 October we interred the ashes of Doreen Annandale and on Sunday 4 December will inter the ashes of Tim Graves.
At our St Francis day service on 2 October, we invited and blessed our animal companions: 4 dogs, one budgie, 1 fish, as well as several cats, geckoes, two rats and all the animals at Kaarakin animal refuge In absentia. Jim Horton beautifully inscribed certificates for the animal.
